Sons of Temperance

Established for over 150 years, the Sons of Temperance has had an outstanding record of service in providing life assurance and savings schemes.

• The society has been actively considering its future. Meetings have been held with our actuary and with the Financial Services Authority.
• The Sons of Temperance Friendly Society has ceased the effecting of new business. Existing policies remain in force and members may be assured that their contracts are guaranteed.
• We will be having meetings with several friendly societies to whom we might transfer our existing business. Ultimately the transfer has to be approved by the Financial Services Authority.
• In due course those members for whom we have current addresses will be notified of future arrangements. Do we have your current address?
• Whatever the future may hold, we hope to continue our social, fraternal and educational activities.
