News of the Sons of Temperance Friendly Society
Established for over 150 years, the Sons of Temperance has had an outstanding record of service in Britain in providing friendly society saving plans and life insurance exclusively for teetotalers.
- The society has been actively considering its future. Meetings have been held with our actuary and with the Financial Services Authority. The Sons of Temperance Friendly Society has ceased the effecting of new business.
- A Special General Meeting will be held to approve a scheme of reorganisation and to adopt new rules.
- In due course those members for whom we have current addresses will be notified of future arrangements. Please Confirm Your Address.
- As a teetotal society we are continuing, and will be enhancing, our social, fraternal and educational activities.
- If you are teetotal you are invited to join as an Honorary Member. Join us!
